Why servers use it

FAQ

Is the ResetClock Discord bot free?

Yes. Every command and every reminder is free, with no premium tier and no vote-to-unlock features.

What permissions does the bot need?

View Channels, Send Messages and Embed Links. It cannot read messages: it only answers its own slash commands and posts reminders in channels you subscribed.

Who can set up reminders?

Members with the Manage Server permission can use /subscribe and /unsubscribe. Anyone can use /next.

How do I change the game server or how early it posts?

Run /subscribe again in the same channel with the new choices. It replaces that game's previous setup instead of adding a second one.

Why doesn't it post Helltides or Legion events?

They repeat too often for a channel and would bury every other message. The website shows them live and can remind you personally.

Can the bot send reminders to my DMs?

Not yet. For personal reminders, use the Remind me button on any timer page: it sends browser notifications or posts to your own Discord webhook.

Not for DM alerts or events that repeat every hour or two: use reminders on the website for those. By adding the bot you agree to the Terms; see Privacy for what it stores.
